As Jesus ascended into heaven, the Spirit descended to earth and all heaven broke loose! Ordinary men and women who had followed Jesus now preached, healed, and cast out demons with the same power that Jesus had. The book of acts tells this exciting story of how the Spirit used 120 unlikely disciples to start a church that, even in the face of suffering and death, multiplied to every nation on earth.
